With our expertise in both public transport modernization and maritime logistics,
we serve as a key partner for national development initiatives that drive economic growth and sustainability.

Jeepney Modernization Program & Financial Support
As part of the Philippine government’s Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Modernization Program, La Maharlika plays a crucial role in replacing old jeepneys with safer, environmentally friendly, and more efficient alternatives such as Battery Electric Buses (BEVs) and Hybrid Buses.
How We Support the Program:
Supporting Jeepney Cooperatives – By working closely with cooperatives, we help them navigate the financial and technical processes required to transition to modern vehicles.
Securing World Bank MIGA Funding – We assist in mobilizing MIGA-guaranteed financing of USD 210 million to support PUV manufacturers and cooperatives in the transition to modern vehicles.
Financial Structuring & Advisory Services – In collaboration with local financial institutions like the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), we structure flexible loan terms that allow transport operators to easily finance their new PUVs.

Maritime Logistics Consulting for Reclamation Projects
La Maharlika provides end-to-end maritime logistics solutions for major reclamation projects, particularly for the Manila Bay reclamation initiative. Our services ensure the efficient, safe, and environmentally compliant dredging, transport, and discharge of reclamation sand.
Our Role in Maritime Logistics:
Discharge & Site Coordination – We oversee the proper discharge of sand at reclamation sites, ensuring regulatory adherence and environmental protection.
Dredging Consultation & Management – We assist in sourcing and dredging reclamation sand while ensuring compliance with local and international environmental standards.
Transportation & Logistics Planning – We manage the maritime transport of dredged materials, optimizing routes and reducing logistical costs.
